Sunset hues.

I was able to capture the set of colors I was looking for to add to my studies with the hurricane photos. I went to Good Harbor beach in Gloucester, MA.

More and New.

More color studies... I could look at my hurricane photos forever, the colors are to a 't' what I had in mind for a color scheme. Also, new drawings from the hurricane photos, not yet executed in illustrator or a book, but they will head there.

readings, upcomings

We've got Nicole's reading (Thoreau) and the reading pertaining to Lauren's work (articles from recent "memory" issue New Scientist). We'll clarify tomorrow (Wednesday) which will be discussed when, but it would be good to start reading these.

Also, next Wednesday we'll be joined by Jan Moscowitz, a smart and stylish graphic designer who'll be talking about her work and life, including a crisis-design project relating to Sandy.
